Part 2 of a three-part series designed for social workers, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, and counselors on the topics of culture and the psychosocial implications of socioeconomic position. The course focuses on the importance of adapting therapeutic interventions to integrate and account for social determinants of health (SDH), with guidelines for integrating this information into assessment and intervention. Integration of SDH into treatment is examined in the context of existing treatment modalities including Solution Focused Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy.
